It starts in my toes, makes me crinkle my nose,
where ever it goes I always know.
That you make me smile
please stay for a while now, just take your time, where ever you go...

secara aku emang rempong... *weeeew

I am one of so many people in the world who loves to get involved in any friend updates in those social network...

Though I'm not the one who loves to retweet or even give a comment on those, I still love to read it one by one, while thinking what is the message that my friends tried to draw from writing such kind of expression in their wall of status.

I always love reading such kind of motivating status, of course with that bunches of quotation from the great person that having such kind of great meaning inside. Status such as...
Always keep your heads up high and your heart looking forward in order to reach your dream and goal.
will always be my favourite.

I also like a status which contains an inspiring lyric taken from one of the most popular song ever sang. It really works! It often made my day.

I'd love to make myself believe that planet earth turns slowly... *owl city

But lately, I often read status with so many unfamiliar words. It takes more time to understand and more sanity to grab the whole idea. It drives me crazy *really do. It makes me wonder how creative our teenager is, or...???

These words are:
1. unyu
2. rempong
3. najong
4. gretong.
5. secara

Later I also found out that most of my friends (60 from 100) use these expressions in their status and most of those sixty are high school students with an over-edited profile picture and over-modified account name. the fact is, that most of them are Indonesia teenager (below 19 years old).

What could be drawn from this phenomenon?

Could it be related with the stereotyping and imitating behavior of our teenager??
Do our teenagers tend to adapt other behavior only to make themselves visible in their community?? *sighed
Does visibility means a lot to their social life??? How big is the importance??? Have they done the right things to achieve it???

*Or...how pathetic they are.

Finally, here comes the day!!!!

It's already four p.m, and I'm still at home, having nothing to do except checking my blog, sleeping, taking care of myself (my own room, my own closet, my own books collection, my own campus works, my own church's activites plan, my own teaching schedule, completely my own perfectly-hectic-world) and I'm kinda really...relieved!!!!

Yeah, those bunches of things to do lately didn't give me any chances of breathing, even to see how do I look these days. Although I'm not supposed to complain, since I love all of my jobs and activities, but I do always think that I need a bit moment for myself. I need my own solitary spaces, where I could loosen all of the responsibilities, put down all of the burden - even only for a while...
Gonna sleep earlier tonight. I hope tomorrow I'm gonna be a better person, with a better plan, and a better attempt toward my goals. ^^

Love = A form of amnesia when a girl forgets there are 1.1 billion other boys in the world. *yayaaaayaaaay...
Hahahahaha, reading this statement make me question myself: does it also happen to me???
I would like to say no at first, since yeaaah, as one of an "in-a-relationship" girl of course I still remember (and won't ever forget) that there are...
1.1 billion other boys in the world!
That my boyfriend is not the only boy.

But then, I've also made sure that those
1.1 billion other boys in the world
are nothing compared to mine :p

(could it be defined as imsomnia, then???)

...going to be my 'UN'BUSINESS!

Some friends told me that they want to change, being maturer, wiser, and more professional. I do believe that they will try their best on it!
Some friends promised me that they are going to be a better bunches of teenager, with a broader mind, and wider heart, with a bigger acceptance toward critics and suggestion. I just put my trust on them, while seeing front the back row, waiting...

Times flew, none.

I was getting tired of waiting. I took my own way, I drew my own start, I got to the end, I made an achievement. I looked at them, my friends - with all of their extraordinary expectation and ideal conception. Nothing happened, forever vacant!

I was getting sick of blaming. I kept my mouth sealed, my heart shut. I didn't wanna bear more disappointment. I left the field, watered my own grass, plowed my own land, nourished my own terrain. I saw the, my friends - with no can in the hand, or a hoe in the shoulder. Nothing done, still paralyzed.

I was getting loathe of caring and paying that "too much" attention.
I hate making myself busy on nonsense

I landed myself on a green grassy island, lay down and slept.
Beautiful dreams ahead, nightmare's dumped.

I decided to run.
I decided to stay away.
Since from now on, it's going to be my 'UN'BUSINESS.

*for having my time wasted for you, all. Thanks.

hands to heaven

*sung by: Christian Bautista

As I watch you move
Across the moonlit room
There's so much tenderness in your loving
Tomorrow I must leave
The dawn knows no reprieve
God, give me strength when I am leaving

So raise your hands to heaven and pray
That we'll be back together someday

Tonight I need your sweet caress
Hold me in the darkness
Tonight you calm my restlessness
You relieve my sadness

As we move to embrace
Tears run down your face
I whisper words of love so softly
I can't believe this pain
It's driving me insane
Without your touch, life will be lonely

So raise your hands to heaven and pray
That we'll be back together someday

Morning has come another day
I must pack my bags and say goodbye, goodbye

(this song is just so...me... *always tranform into a super-melancholic person when night comes, weeew...)

(Aku) cewek gatal...

*I have to write this one in Indonesian, weeew... for the sake of the dramatic effect! :)

It has been there for 3 weeks. Yeaaah, I don't know what's wrong with myself.

Dapet resep berupa salep, tapi mau diolesin dimana ya??
Minum obat penghilang rasa gatal?

Hahahahaha.
Makan sambil garuk-garuk (untung nggak pake garpu sekalian saking sebelnya), jalan-jalan sambil garuk-garuk, ngoreksi en bikin rapotnya anak sambil garuk-garuk, yang paling parah...ngajar aja sambil garuk-garuk! Sampe-sampe nih salah seorang murid, dan beliau adalah seorang suster, ikutan gatal sendiri tiap ngelihat aku garuk-garuk. Akhirnya, inisiatif jiwa sucinya (bahasa opo iki rek) menawarkan untuk mendoakan penyakitku biar cepet sembuh. Baiklah, segala doa pun dilancarakan. Mulai dari doa penyembuhan biasa, sampe...rosario pembebasan!!! Dahsyat nggak tuh??? Tapi...nggak membuahkan hasil yang berarti juga. Rasa gatalnya emang sempet ilang selama...SETENGAH HARI SAJA! Weeeeewww...

*Viva gatal!!!! Mau sampai kapan kau berjaya???

time to love...

There was once a time, when we didn't care each another,
didn't talk each other, didn't see each other, even only for knowing each another
There was once a time, when I lived my own perfect world,
and you were only the outsider, not even a friend,
not even a single complementary role in my life's chapter...

But now, I have found someone that becoming the reason,
someone that becoming the eternal guidance...
A light in my sorrow, water in my thirst, an eye to my blindness.
Or if I could spell it better: an implant soul.

Knowing the idea of an immortal life, let it be more than that.
Let the gaiety lasts, even in the hardest year.
Let the bond survive, even in the most fragile time.
Let me be the one who smile, even in the most unpredicted moment.

And now, it's the time for toughen each another,
two voices from the same cord, double topping on a single dish, two soul in one breath.
It's the time to hold each other hand, to push each other back, to love...

*miss you...

2nd magical moment: to the pedicab driver...

Well, it was quite a rainy day, me and few friends were going out together.
Had such a though and exhausting day, finally we stopped in front of one restaurant in Jl. Oro-oro Dowo (guess it!) to had a dinner together. We love that particular restaurant since its EXTRA BIG portion!! One fried rice is enough for five people, and the price is almost cheap, yeaaah...for us, it is quite affordable :) and the taste is not that bad.

We ate happily while chatted and laughed, but, in the end, all of us couldn't finish all those big portion of fried rice. Our stomachs were getting really full. That's why we agreed to bring the rest of the fried rice home, and we divided it into two wrapped package of fried rice. But, then, we got confused, we couldn't decide who should bring it back home. A bit discussion, before an idea came out in my mind. I, myself, personally thought that we should give those packages of fried rice to the first beggar that we meet on our way back home.

What a brilliant me, the other also agreed, we rushed back home then.

But, unfortunately, because that was a rainy day, although we have searched in every inter junctions, we couldn't find any of them. We got really tired, cold, and nearly gave up. We just wanted to get home as quickly as possible. We could still give the fried rice to someone in the house, right???

At that time, I felt really uneasy, I don't know why. It seemed that my good intention won't worked out. The, I was beginning to questioned, do these kind of things always happen when we want to do something good. Do we have to pass through some temptation, that shrunk our spirit???

The rain was getting harder and the temperature was getting colder.

It was near the house, when suddenly one of my friend shouted.
"Hey, why don't we gave it to that pedicab driver???"

Then I saw him, one old man stood and stunned alone behind his pedicab. His white hair, and moustache, and beard, wet by the rain. He was wearing a thin transparent rain coat, messed up and seemed so tired. We stopped in front of him, "Excuse me, do you want this fried rice??" I gave him the fried rice. What was amazing, when we gave him the fried rice. his crumpled dark face turned out to be soft shiny gold (hahahaha, although it was just my imagination). A big smile was clearly seen in his face. With a feeble accent (because of the cold rain), he replied, "Thank...Thank you..." then we left him alone again.

Until now, I still remember that pedicab driver's smile. It was one of the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen during my life. Well, it was a smile, from a stranger, caused by our good deed, our sincerity, and it gave me, us, much more pleasure than any other things in the world.

Giving to others would never give you any harm, it makes you rich, it makes you full!

1st magical moment: she called me "Miss"

This is my time for another posting...

There was some magical moment has happened today, but I will tell you later in my next blog.

Well, actually, in the middle of attended my class in the campus today, I remembered something that happened to me. That moment could be also included in one magical moment of mine. I wanna share this one to you before I forget it, for...ever... :p

At that time, I was busy doing bunches of holy "yudisium" things in my beloved campus (darn! hope I can get out from that hell a.s.a.p!). As usual, there was so many students there (that made me bit uncomfortable, since I believe that I was the older of all - proud of being the legend of the campus. *sigh). I was sitting alone in front of the office when suddenly I felt somebody touched my shoulder. I got really surprised. I saw my back, to that very voice and looked at a middle-aged women with a formal suit, high-heels, that seemed so smart and classy.
The, I looked at myself, a casual polo-shirt with a jeans, and a pair of flat shoes, really messed-up!

But, until now, I couldn't forget what was happened after that. That beautiful elegant lady shook my hand and said, "Miss Dini, still remember me??" I needed some moment before finally I realized that she was my student in the English Course. I have ever taught her a few months ago when she was studying in a post graduate program in my campus, and at that time (when we met) she had been a lecture, and that lecture called me..."Miss!"
I don't know, what kind of feeling that I felt at that time, I was kinda really proud of myself, I felt really appreciated, respected, and be valued...

Since then, I understand one thing.
Whatever I am, for some people, I am memorable...
Whoever I am, every time I did a good deed. for example: teach them English, help them to learn something new and valuable, etc, although it seems simple, but it is precious for another people, even for them who are older than us.
I used to underestimate myself, but when I remember this magical moment, I wanna try to learn to appreciate myself, so that the other can appreciate me more... I was created beautiful and I wanna believe that I will always be beautiful till the end... ^^

*Love your beautiful life, tems!

preparing for the morning mass

These days I'm kinda used to going to the church in the morning and attending the mass there. Thanks to all of my beloved friends, that give me such a great support of constructing this beautiful habit to my daily routines. Bram, Yogi, Bagus, Rara, Edo, Asti, you all rock, guys!!
I love attending the mass, because I need it.
Personally, I, myself, feel the differences that happen after I attend the mass every morning (compared with what happens if I spend my whole morning sleeping and doing nothing):
  • Going to the mass in the morning forces me to take a bath earlier than usual. When I have taken a bath, I could feel fresher, I feel that I'm getting more and more ready to face the whole day activities.
  • Going to the mass in the morning pumps my energy, it gives me some kind of spirit, something that I needed the most to keep working and fighting until 8 p.m everyday.
  • Going to the mass in the morning reminds me of being a better person, always, since there is one rite in a mass that allow us to confess every single bad deed that we have done the previous day and promise not to do it again.
  • Going to the mass in the morning gives me more guarantee of safety and security. I can feel safer wherever I drive, I can feel more secure wherever I walk, I can feel more peaceful since I have a reliable Father behind me that will always protect me, guard me, and preserve me...
Well, though I'm not that religious, I would like to suggest you to start this habit. When you have already getting used to it, you will feel that everything are changing to be better since you are attending your first mass. You will be more obedient to your schedule, you will have more strength to move on, and what is clear, you will have more faith to God.

Get up earlier! Live better!

since it's his...

This night was so special, just like the other night when I heard that voice.
For you, it might be a usual voice.
For you, it might be no extraordinary.
But for me, that voice means everything.

He could be far away, most of the time.
He could be unreachable.
He could be unseen.
But this voice lets me feel that he is only one baby step away, smiling and talking to me.

This voice reminds me how deep I should believe
This voice reminds me how high I should hope
This voice reminds me how deep I should love
This voice reminds me about what does he mean to me now, and ever

Since it's soothing, smooth, and calm
Since it's gentle, preserved and guard
Since it's the first voice that I want to hear tomorrow morning when I open my eyes...
Since it's also the last voice from whom I want to hear a good-night
Since it's his voice!

*missing you badly...

as a teacher, I'm being exploited *hufftt...

I hope I can work for myself instead of working to the other people

Ya, susah memang kalau kita belum punya cukup kemampuan untuk merintis pekerjaan kita sendiri sementara kita butuh duit buat seabrek keperluan sehari-hari.

Let's fight to be independent! Don't wanna be exploited. Rule your own life!!!

even in a medical science, women are being suppresed *a feminist idea of mine

http://www.kedaiobat.co.cc/2010/05/tanda-tanda-kanker-payudara.html

http://kankerpayudara.wordpress.com/2007
/12/25/kanker-payudara-gejala-penyebab-dan-diagnosa/

We are created as a woman, with all of woman's organ and all of woman's characteristic.

As sex is a gift and gender is an option.

unmarried = unhealthy, is it???

"Mbak Bunga (bukan nama sebenarnya) kena kanker payudara, Din."

"Hah??!!"

"Sudah stadium tiga."

"Apa?!!"

Terjengat aku mendengar perkataan Mama.

*kenapa aku masih merasa bahwa kesimpulan yang dibuat Mamaku adalah kesimpulan yang janggal ya?? (Sayangnya aku nggak punya background sedikitpun dalam bidang kedokteran jadi nggak tahu apa jawaban permasalahan ini secara ilmiah dengan dasar ilmu pengetahuan.)
Unmarried = unhealthy? Masa sih??

jauhnya Surabaya...

What a life!
What an ironic!

"surabaya"
Sebuah pesan masuk di hapeku, dari dia.

"I wish I were there, with you..."

"Memang jelas nggak sebanding.
